KATHMANDU, August 3: Police have busted a motorcycle lifters’ gang in the Bardibas Nagar area, the main commercial center in the far north of Mahottari. While searching for a motorcycle stolen from in front of the Century Bank at Bardibas Main Chowk on Sunday night, the Bardibas Area Police Office arrested three members of the gang involved in stealing motorcycles.
According to Ravi Rawal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Bardibas, the gang was discovered during investigation after a stolen motorcycle was found at the house of Ram Ekwal Yadav in Kisan Nagar, Bardibas-7.

Police arrested Yadav, his brother Ramlakshman Yadav and Sunil Kumar Ram of Bhangaha-4 who are allegedly involved in lifting motorcycles.
Lately, there has been an increase in the number of motorcycle thefts in Bardibas. A few days ago, there was a similar incident where a motorcycle was stolen from the premises of Radio Bardibas located in Bardibas-1.
