KATHMANDU, July 1: Police have arrested Rajiv Gurung aka Deepak Manange, a notorious gangster, on the charge of his involvement in organized crime including extortion, kidnapping and looting. Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu arrested Manange from Thamel Thursday night.

Gangster Manange was arrested with his assistant Rajiv Kumar Singh. SSP Thapa said that the Kathmandu District Court has remanded him to police custody for five days.
