KATHMANDU, April 22: The Nepal Police Headquarters has issued instructions to 16 policemen who have been voluntarily absent since Falgun (mid-February to mid-March) to appear in.
On Monday, the police headquarters released the names and positions of the 16 absent policemen who are currently out of contact.

The absent officers include a technical police sub-inspector, two police assistant head constables, a police constable, and an office assistant.
According to the police headquarters, some of these individuals have been absent since the beginning of Falgun, while others have been missing since the end of the month.
The police headquarters stated that the public notice was issued as they were unable to establish contact with these officers despite conducting a search. The notice was published after completing the necessary procedures.
They have been instructed to appear before the authorities with an explanation within seven days from the publication date of the notice, excluding the day of publication.
Failure to comply may result in the Headquarters taking action to remove them from service as per police regulations.
