KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that provision should be made in law that facilitates big development projects to operate in a simple and uninterrupted manner.

Speaking at a program organized to discuss laws that facilitate development projects on Wednesday, Minister Sharma said that large projects have been stalled due to cumbersome laws and various obstructions and such provisions should be removed to ensure smooth progress in development projects. "The authorities, the law and the courts should not stop big projects," Sharma said. “Laws that allow big projects to operate in a simple manner and without any hindrance should be introduced.”
