KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Prem Ale and Maya Rai, elected members of the House of Representatives (HoR), have taken the oath of office and secrecy. Senior-most HoR member Pashupati Shamsher JB Rana administered the oath to Ale and Rai.
Ale did not participate in the swearing-in ceremony on the 2nd of January due to family grief while Rai was admitted to a hospital.

Two other MPs, Mahindra Ray Yadav and Ram Kumar Rai, who missed taking oath on January 2, had taken the oath on January 3.
