The first Indo-Nepali film ‘Prem Geet 3’ is set to hit the theaters on September 23, 2022.
‘Avatar’ to re-release in cinemas on September 23
The movie is directed by the late Chhetan Gurung and co-director Santosh Sen. The film features Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurung in the lead roles. Other cast members includes Sunil Thapa, Shiva Shrestha, Santosh Sen, Maotse Gurung, Prem Puri, Manish Rawat, Anubhav Regmi, Sujal Basnet, Sambridhi Shahi Thakuri, Yogisha Khatri, Laxmi Bardewa and Krijal Gautam.
According to reports, the film is produced by Santosh Sen and co-produced by Kumar San Shah and OSR Digital. The film revolves around the story of a 200 year old love story. Similarly, in the Indian dubbed version, Indian filmmaker Subhash Kale has produced it.
According to Cinema Express, Actor Pradeep Khadka said, “I find it as my new birth as I will be having a new identity as someone who got a chance to venture into a new world, representing the Nepali film industry, for the first time in its over 50 years of history.”
The film is the third sequel of the ‘Prem Geet’ franchise. The trailer of ‘Prem Geet 3’ is said to release on September 1.
