KATHMANDU, Feb 3 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari sent a message of congratulations to Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah on the occasion of his proclamation as the 16th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia, on Sunday.
In the message, the president has expressed the confidence that Malaysia will achieve further progress and prosperity under His Majesty’s visionary guidance and stewardship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in the statement.

The president, in the message, stated that the excellent relations that so happily exist between Nepal and Malaysia will be further strengthened during his reign. "The president has expressed best wishes for the good health and happiness of the King as well as for the prosperity of the friendly people of Malaysia," the statement said.
