KATHMANDU, April 2: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday formally inaugurated the distribution of the much-anticipated drinking water supplied by the Melamchi Drinking Water Project in the Kathmandu Valley.
President Bhandari inaugurated the drinking water distribution work by turning on the stone spout (commonly known as Dhunge Dhara) installed at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu amid a special function held on Friday.

The project started supplying water in the pipes installed across Kathmandu Valley from Sunday to make sure that there is no leakage.
