Prime Minister Dahal dances to folk tunes in Pokhara

The repercussions of this change are still seen in the capital, with the aftershocks being felt even by Prime Minister Dahal himself during his appearances on various platforms.

KATHMANDU, March 17: The political landscape remains tense after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's unexpected shift in alliances. The repercussions of this change are still seen in the capital, with the aftershocks being felt even by Prime Minister Dahal himself during his appearances on various platforms.


Amidst this backdrop, Prime Minister Dahal, who visited Pokhara on Sunday, was seen in a different light. He was entertained by folk singer Prakash Saput at a special ceremony to declare Pokhara Nepal’s tourism capital.

A live video released shows Saput performing his hit song 'Galbandi Chyatiyo Timle Tanera', with Prime Minister Dahal, adorned in a red muffler and a flower garland, dancing along. This dance by Prime Minister Dahal is reminiscent of his dance with actress Rekha Thapa a few years ago.


Other guests including Mayor of Pokhara metropolis at the event were also seen dancing on stage alongside Dahal.
