Private school teachers to get pension: Minister Bista (with video)

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista has urged all the laborers to be registered in the contribution-based Social Security Program. 


While speaking at a program organized by Nepal Teachers' Federation in Lalitpur on Wednesday, Minister Bista warned institutions of taking strong action if they failed to pay a minimum wage to the employees.

Urging the concerned stakeholders to join hands with the government in the campaign, he alerted all the public and institutional schools to provide a minimum wage to the working teachers. 


He further assured the teachers working in the private sector of providing pension under SSP.
