Private schools should be controlled, says Dahal

CHITWAN, April 12: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the education quality of the community schools should be improved and the private schools should be controlled.

CHITWAN, April 12: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the education quality of the community schools should be improved and the private schools should be controlled. 


Inaugurating the golden jubilee celebration of Basic School at Sundarbasti in west Chitwan Thursday, the former prime minister said that community schools' infrastructure and educational quality should be uplifted. "We should advance to control the private schools gradually. Government's focus would be to increase the attraction towards community schools," the Maoist Chairman opined.

He observed that massive changes in education policy was needed and stated that education policy producing unemployed graduates should be changed. 


Dahal suggested that the proportion of technical and general subjects should be 70 and 30 percent respectively in the education policy. 


He was of the view that education policy should be creating employment for development. RSS
