Prof. Dr. Anthony J. Onwuegbuzie felicitated by KU

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Kathmandu University felicitated Prof. Dr. Anthony J. Onwuegbuzie on the auspicious occasion of Silver Jubilee of Kathmandu University for his contribution in the area of educational leadership and mixed methods research, this Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Kathmandu University felicitated Prof. Dr. Anthony J. Onwuegbuzie on the auspicious occasion of Silver Jubilee of Kathmandu University for his contribution in the area of educational leadership and mixed methods research, this Thursday.


Prof. Onwuegbuzie is the Department of Educational Leadership, Sam Houston State University, USA. He is the President of Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA) and has published more than 400 works, including more than 300 journal articles, 50 book chapters, and 5 books. He has been cited in more than 30,000 works with current h-index is 71.

On the occasion, Prof. Onwuegbuzie delivered a Silver Jubilee Lecture on “Contemporary Conceptual Issues and Applications in Mixed Methods Research”. Prof. Onweegbuzie had arrived a day before a two days training program, organized in Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), on Contemporary Issues in Mixed Methods Research.


The training was jointly facilitated by Prof. Onwuegbuzie and Dr. Prakash C Bhattarai, Assistant Professor of KUSOED. Thirty participants from various universities and organizations participated in the training.
