KATHMANDU, Aug 6: A fire which broke out at Shankar Auto Workshop in Bishalnagar of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4 has been contained.
It broke out at 6 pm at the workshop operated by Shambhu Shahi. However, the cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

“The fire has been brought under control with the help of two fire engines – one from police headquarters and the other had been brought from Juddha Barun Yantra, Patan,” Assistant Sub Inspector Hikmat Kunwar told Republica Online.
According to DSP Kuldeep Chand of Metropolitan Police Circle, Kamal Pokhari, the fire started from a compressor machine and spread to the other goods in the worship, incurring loss of around Rs 1 million.
