KAILALI, Oct 28: Property worth Rs 40 million gutted as a soyabean factory caught fire in Kailali on Wednesday morning.

KAILALI, Oct 28: Property worth Rs 40 million gutted as a soyabean factory caught fire in Kailali on Wednesday morning.


According to Area Police Office, Tikapur, the incident took place at a soyabean factory located at Shankarpur of Tikapur Municipality-3 in Kailali.

Police said that the fire broke out at around 4 AM due to a short circuit. Manish Balayar, the proprietor of the factory, said that all the goods in go-down have reduced to ashes.


A team of security personnel, fire brigade and locals brought the fire under their control in two hours.
