Province-5 presents Rs 28 billion budget

BUTWAL, June 15: Province-5 government has presented a budget of Rs 28 billion. Province-5 Chief Minister Pradeep Gyawali, who is also looking after the portfolio of the Finance Ministry, presented a budget of Rs 28,090,300,000 at a provincial meeting on Friday.

BUTWAL, June 15: Province-5 government has presented a budget of Rs 28 billion. Province-5 Chief Minister Pradeep Gyawali, who is also looking after the portfolio of the Finance Ministry, presented a budget of Rs 28,090,300,000 at a provincial meeting on Friday.


This is the first full-fledged budget ever presented by the province. Earlier, the province had presented a partial budget three months ago.


Rs 11,464,902,000 have been allocated under the operating budget, which comes around 40.80 percent.

Similarly, Rs 16,624,398,000 has been allotted under the capita budget, which is 49.20 percent of the total budget.


The Province has set a target of achieving Rs 2,400,000,000 from Inland Revenue.


Similarly, the Province has presumed to save Rs 600,000,000 from the appropriated budget of the current fiscal year.
