In a meeting of the State Affairs Committee of the Legislature-Parliament today, the sub- committee formed to prepare a report about the bill relating to the adjustment of employees at the local level presented the report along with this recommendation, according to sub-committee coordinator Rekha Sharma.

The constitution has allowed the formation of the Province PSC only after the election of State Assemblies and until then, the PSC will fill the vacant posts on the basis of allotted quotas.

The bill has proposed that if wife and husband both are in the government service, the couple shall be deputed to the same province/ local level (if possible) while executing the adjustment process.

As per the bill, employees to be part of the adjustment process will be entitled perks and facilities in accordance with the Amendment Act until a new law is made to this regard.

In the meeting, State Affairs Committee President Dil Bahadur Gharti underlined the need of bringing the Act soon to send the employees to the province and local level.
