KATHMANDU, Aug 3: The Public Accounts Committee has requested the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to provide data related to the Times of Day (TOD) meters.
Following a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee on Friday, it was decided to formally request TOD meter data from the NEA. Committee Chairman Rishikesh Pokharel stated that the committee seeks clarity on the TOD meter's details.

He emphasized that, while the matter is technical, the committee focuses on principles and will work with all available facts and evidence. Pokharel instructed that the necessary documents be submitted to the secretariat within three days. He also directed the secretariat to prepare a report within five days, incorporating all relevant facts, evidence, and legal considerations.
Based on this report, the committee plans to address and resolve the dispute between industrialists and the NEA in their next meeting.
