Public Choice award for 'Bulbul' in France

Nepali movie 'Bulbul' received public choice award at South Asian Film Festival held in France. The five-day long festival was organized on Sunday. Director of ‘Bulbul’, Binod Paudel confirmed that the movie has bagged the award.

Nepali movie 'Bulbul' received public choice award at South Asian Film Festival held in France. The five-day long festival was organized on Sunday. Director of ‘Bulbul’, Binod Paudel confirmed that the movie has bagged the award.


According to a press statement, the audience loved the acting skills of actress Swastima Khadka and the end of the movie. It quoted him saying, "The audience appreciated how a film maker, who is a male, has understood the psychology of a female character. They also liked Swastima’s flawless acting and they realized that Nepali movies too are of quality and they also commented that they would search and watch more Nepali movies in future."
