Public transport fares increase (with list)

KATHMANDU, June 20: Along with the rise in the prices of petroleum products, fares of public transport have also gone up.

KATHMANDU, June 20: Along with the rise in the prices of petroleum products, fares of public transport have also gone up.


According to the arrangement of changing fares through an automatic system as per the price of fuel, the Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has increased the fares for inter-provincial passenger and freight transport by 5.3 percent to a maximum of 7.7 percent.

The Nepal Oil Corporation had increased the price of petrol by Rs 21 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 27 per liter with effect from Sunday midnight.
