SURKET, June 21: A youth who had returned home nine days ago after staying at a quarantine facility died while undergoing treatment at the Chinchu-based Ganesh Medical Hall on Sunday.
After complaining of diarrhea and vomiting on Saturday evening, he was admitted to the Chinchu-based Ganesh Medical Hall for treatment, according to family sources.

He had returned from Himachal, India on May 29, stayed in a quarantine facility for 14 days and returned home on June 11.
After they tested negative for COVID-19 through the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT), the youth along with 70 others were sent home with the direction to stay in home quarantine for seven more days.
“It has been learnt that he breathed his last while undergoing treatment,” said Rajesh Buda, chief of Beriganga Municipality’s Health Division. “His throat swab samples have been collected for Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test,” he added.
