Radio Audio class starts in Jumla targeting SEE students

JUMLA, April 12: Educational institutions across the country have been closed since March 18 due to the high risk of COVID-19.


Later on March 24, the government had announced a nationwide lockdown as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus and it has been extended till April 15.

Amidst the increasing health threat due to coronavirus, the government on March 18 decided to put off the secondary school education exam (SEE) scheduled from March 19.


Bearing in the mind the extending term of lockdown, the Radio Khula Akash 99.6 Mhz Jumla has started the Radio Audio Class named Sunapadhi since April 8 targeting the SEE appearing students and children of basic level.


According to radio manager Ratan Nepali, the class includes the English, Maths, Science, Nepali and Social Studies subjects.


The class is available online and is presented through Facebook as well. The SEE classes begin from 10:00 am every day.
