TANAHUN, July 8: The construction of the Ramayana ghar at Shikharkateri in Bhanu municipality-4, the birthplace of national luminary pioneer poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya has been expedited.
The house is being constructed with the investment of Rs. 30 million from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Bhanu Birthplace Development Committee is overseeing the construction work.

So far, 80 per cent of the work has been completed, committee Executive Director Shanker Ranabhat said. The walls of the house will have quotes from Ramayana along with images.
The area is being developed based on a 190 million rupees master plan and it includes the Ramanaya building, Bhanu griha, residential homes, library, ponds among others.
The committee is also seeking funds from the government to black top the road from Chundiramghabesi to Shikhar Kateri, according to the committee chair Shribhakta Acharya. RSS
