The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi and composed by The Pritam. Similarly, the lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music video is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Sony Music India posted the music video on its YouTube channel. Before releasing the song, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji went live on Instagram and discussed how they had been working on it even the night before. Alia shared the song with the following caption on her Instagram page; “Our sound of love is now yours. Kesariya out now!”
