Expressing her motivation, Kami says, "I created a TikTok account to raise awareness about caste discrimination." Her TikTok account boasts over 92,000 followers, while she also commands a following of 24,000 on Facebook.

While her surname is BK, she chose to be identified by the surname 'Kami,' expressing her desire for herself and the Dalit community to be respected in society. "The problem lies in the situation, not in the caste," she says.

In addition to her online activism, Kami is pursuing her BA LLB degree. During her leisure, she engages in discussions on various forms of discrimination among the youth through her Facebook page. She believes that such dialogues have the potential to alter the perceptions of the younger generation regarding social disparities and disharmony.
