KATHMANDU, Oct 9:  Rape incidents, which are categorized as the most heinous crime, have gone unabated, leaving those especially young girls and women terrorized.

Despite being aware of the fact that it is a heinous crime and a stigma attached to it will have a damaging impact on the victim, the rapists make advances to women irrespective of their own relatives.

Dr. Sushil Koirala argues that rapists do not have sound mind or may be suffering from some kind of mental delirium that is why they do not spare their own mothers and sisters. Talking to nagariknetwork.com, Koirala stressed the need that the causes leading them to such a heinous crime have to be discovered and treated accordingly.

According to Koirala, both men and women are attracted to each other. But the qualities that attract them are entirely different. Men are attracted to women by especially their physical beauty while women are attracted to men due to their intelligence, care, security and tolerance.

Koirala’s detailed interview with nagariknetwork.com is coming soon.
