“All 25 households of Haku sheltering under make-shift tents in Dhunche have returned to their village,” said Som Bahadur Tamang of Aama Chhodingmo Rural Municipality-2. He expressed his hope that the neighbors will be reunited for the first time since the earthquakes.

“As the victims were in different camps, the neighbors could not meet each other. So, Dashain is only the time they can meet each other,” said Yangjen Tamang from Haku.

The devastating earthquakes and dry landslides in Haku, Dandagaun and Thulogaun areas of the district have displaced more than 400 households.
