Recruitment open for Officer positions in Nepal Army'

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Applications are invited for officer positions in the Nepal Army, including in the departments of Judge Advocate, Technical, and Various Services, through open and inclusive competition.


Openings are available for Judge Advocate Lieutenant, MBBS, Military Nurse, Dental Technician, Clinical Psychologist, and other posts. Additionally, recruitment for Mechanical Engineer, Automobile Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Civil Engineer, and Computer Engineer positions has been initiated.

Applications are also being accepted for news editor-reader, photographer, orchestra member, librarian, and accounting officer roles.


The application submission period is from December 8 to January 6. Late submissions can be made from January 7 to January 13, with a double fee payment.


The notice specifies that the application form must be filled out online, printed, and submitted with a Rs 10 stamp. During application submission, a Rs 1,000 deposit and one copy of the receipt must be submitted to Nepal Bank Limited for all positions.


The notice released by the Nepali Army mentions that if an application is submitted for more than one group, an additional fee of 20 percent will be charged for each group.
