Renu Dahal leading Bharatpur mayor race by 14 votes

CHITAWAN, MAY 15: The mayoral candidate of the ruling five-party alliance in Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal is leading her nearest rival Bijaya Subedi of CPN-UML by 14 votes as a total of 6477 votes are counted so far.

CHITAWAN, MAY 15: The mayoral candidate of the ruling five-party alliance in Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal is leading her nearest rival Bijaya Subedi of CPN-UML by 14 votes as a total of 6477 votes are counted so far.

While Dahal has secured 2317 votes, Subedi has secured 2303 votes. A rebel candidate of Nepali Congress(NC) Jagannath Poudel has secured 761 votes.


Similarly, the Deputy Mayoral candidate of the ruling alliance has secured the highest votes among all rival candidates so far. While Chitra Sen Adhikari of the ruling alliance has secured 2552 votes, RPP's candidate Himala Gurung has secured 1849 votes.
