Rescue underway for woman who fell into well in Imadol

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Rescue efforts are on for a woman who fell into a well in Imadol in Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Rescue efforts are on for a woman who fell into a well in Imadol in Lalitpur.


Lalitpur police chief SSP Shekhar Khanal told Republica that 28 years old Newton Pradhan, who lives in Imadol and is a permanent resident of Dolakha, fell into the well and efforts are on to rescue her.

She climbed over the well while drying her clothes in the morning. The police said that she fell into the well after the slab covering the well broke. A team led by DSP Umesh Joshi of Satdobato Police Office has been deployed for the rescue.
