DHANGADI, March 26: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has assigned responsibilities to two ministers without portfolio from the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP).
In the presence of all NUP ministers, Laxman Kishor Chaudhary has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Development and Khushi Ram Chaudhary has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment, according to the Chief Minister's Office.
Lumbini: Seven ministers gain portfolios
It is said that the two ministers, who received the letters of responsibilities, will officially assume office at 11:00AM today.
Despite the NUP's decision to withdraw support, Chief Minister Shah, who is trying his best to consolidate power, decided to assign ministerial duties to NUP members.
