“Rhea Chakraborty’s cry for justice and truth has prevailed,” says her lawyer as HC dismisses Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh’s plea

The FIR was based on a complaint filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty, who had alleged that the sisters had obtained a false prescription to administer medicine to late Sushant Singh Rajput.

MUMBAI


The Bombay High has quashed the FIR filed against Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Mitu Singh but the FIR against his other sister Priyanka Singh not quashed and the investigation into the same will continue. The FIR was based on a complaint filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty, who had alleged that the sisters had obtained a false prescription to administer medicine to late Sushant Singh Rajput.

Welcoming the HC’s ruling, Rhea’s lawyer, Satish Manshinde, said in a statement, “Petition filed by Priyanka Singh seeking Quashing of FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty for offences of Forgery and Violating NDPS Act by getting Bogus Prescription for Illegally Administered Medicines to SSR Dismissed by Justice Shinde & Justice Karnik , Bombay High Court . We are satisfied with the verdict. It appears ultimately Rhea Chakrabortys cry for Justice and Truth has prevailed. Satya Meva Jayate.”


With 2021, Rhea Chakraborty seems to be getting back to her routine and is often snapped at a gym studio. The ‘Jalebi’ actress is quite regularly snapped by the paparazzi attending her gym class. Rhea has been keeping a low profile ever since her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. During the probe of his untimely death, a drug-related case was also being investigated with Rhea and her brother Showik being probed by the NCB.
