"A few days ago, we discussed this with the concerned ministers and secretaries of the provinces," Minister Jwala said, "Now we have come to the conclusion that the driving licenses should be made at the provincial level, not at the federal level." Stating that the ministry is doing homework to make it more effective and reliable, he said, “We have some limits. We have done some good things while respecting those limits. We have arranged that payment and application online. Also, the scam in the driving license process has been made public.”
Minister Jwala mentioned that about 29,000 fake driving licenses have been canceled and promised to continue the process of canceling about 100,000 fake driving licenses. He said that the involvement of some in the fake license scam will be investigated further.
