Choreographer Rojin Shakya received outstanding international choreographer award at International Excellence Award 2019 held at Hotel Grand Continental, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on May 20. Ambassador of Nepal to Malaysia, Udaya Raj Pandey felicitated Shakya with the award.

Shakya was awarded for his contribution, dedication and achievement in the field of fashion and pageantry choreography. The award show was organized by Season Media Pvt Ltd in association with Lantern Advertising.
Besides Shakya, other fifteen individuals were also awarded for the contribution in their respective fields. Some of the awardees included Rajendra Chitrakar (Nepal's senior photojournalist Excellency award), Bishnu Prasad Ghimire (Outstanding International cinematographer Excellency award), Maheswar Maharjan (professional international bodybuilder Excellency award), Chhamkala Buddhathoki (Social worker Excellency award) and Radha Dhakal Sapkota (Outstanding fashion designer Excellency award) as per the press statement released by Season Media Pvt Ltd.
