RPP CWC meeting; Chairman Thapa presents 6-page long report

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has held its central working committee meeting on Wednesday. 


In the meeting, the chairperson of the party Kamal Thapa presented a six-page report on the contemporary political situation and the party's upcoming work-plans. The report was unanimously approved by the meeting after an extensive discussion on it, according to party's publicity department chief Mohan Shrestha. Shrestha informed that the report will be presented in the party's central working committee's full-fledged meeting to be held in Kathmandu on Friday.

Similarly, general secretary Bhaskar Bhadra and assistant treasurer Nina Bhetwal presented separate reports on the secretariat's work performance and financial status respectively. Bhadra also included proposed plans in his report. 


Central convention of the party will be the major program of the party in line, according to Shrestha. 


Today's meeting also passed election regulations and directives in view of the general convention of the party which were tabled by the vice-chairman Toran Bahadur Gurung.
