KATHMANDU, July 26: The splinter group of Rastrya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) has joined Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) amid a function in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

A group led by Satya Man Lama was estranged from the RPP-N about a year ago.

A joint press statement issued on Tuesday after the unification stated that the integration was made on the demand of the party workers.

“We have agreed to unite to work for the same causes,” the statement reads.

“We hope to always follow the party principles and pursue national interests.” Speaking at the function, RPP chairman Lokendra Bahadur Chand said that the integration will help the party to work for the country and the people.

Another leader Lama said that the united party will help its leaders stay strong politically and principally.
