Rs 7.2 million recovered from guest house room, two youths from Bhojpur arrested

KATHMANDU, June 2: Police have arrested two youths in possession of Rs 7.2 million. The arrested individuals are Bhimsen Bishwakarma, 50, and Khemraj Bishwokarma, 29, both from Bhojpur.

KATHMANDU, June 2: Police have arrested two youths in possession of Rs 7.2 million. The arrested individuals are Bhimsen Bishwakarma, 50, and Khemraj Bishwokarma, 29, both from Bhojpur.


A team from the Kathmandu District Police Range arrested them after recovering the money from room number 2 of Lumbini Khaja Ghar and Guest House, located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Nabraj Adhikari of the Kathmandu District Police Range stated that the recovered money is suspected to be earned through Hundi, an informal money transfer system. The police have said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
