RSP issues whip to its MPs to give vote of confidence to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has directed its members of parliament (MPs) to vote in favor of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has directed its members of parliament (MPs) to vote in favor of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


A parliamentary party (PP) meeting held on Tuesday morning unanimously decided to give the vote of confidence to the Dahal-led government. The party has issued a whip mandating all MPs to attend the vote and support the government.

The decision was made at a meeting held at the RSP’s PP office in Singha Durbar to deliberate on the vote of confidence.


The RSP has a total of 21 MPs. Four leaders of the RSP including its Chairman Rabi Lamichhane are ministers in the current government.
