KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has has decided to amend the statute of the Parliamentary Party (PP). The party's Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar stated that the discussion on restructuring the statute of the party took place at the meeting of the PP held at the central office in Kathmandu today.
"We have already prepared the draft of the statute of the PP. After the meeting in Jaleswar, we discussed the statute as it had to be amended again,” he said.

He said that in the meeting, there was a discussion about making parliament and parliamentary committees active in the upcoming session. According to him, there was a discussion on the importance of presenting regional issues during the zero hour of parliament and the national issue during the special hour. Chief Whip Pariyar said, "There was also a discussion on the party to study and investigate the national issues and raise them in a way that they would be resolved."
RSP Whip Nisha Dangi said that there was a discussion on the party’s past shortcomings in addressing public concerns and matters of public importance.
"Today's discussion revolved around assessing whether we may have overlooked resolving issues raised in the past," she said. Dangi added, "If there were shortcomings in our previous efforts, we also discussed which issues to prioritize in the future and strategies to ensure continuity in addressing them."
