KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The ruling coalition is meeting again today in an effort to reach a consensus to table the US-funded MCC in parliament. The meeting has been scheduled at 10 AM.

During the meeting of the alliance held on Thursday evening, Prime Minister Deuba had expressed his party’s intention to table the MCC agreement in parliament at any cost. However, the meeting ended inconclusively as coalition partners– CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN(Unified Socialist) are opposed to tabling the agreement in parliament unless the main opposition party lifts obstruction in parliament.
