Ruling parties to collect feedback from public in Tanahun

DAMAULI, April 11: The ruling coalition partners are set to collect public opinions in all municipalities and rural municipalities of Tanahun to decide whether to forge an electoral alliance in the upcoming local level elections.

DAMAULI, April 11: The ruling coalition partners are set to collect public opinions in all municipalities and rural municipalities of Tanahun to decide whether to forge an electoral alliance in the upcoming local level elections. 


A meeting of the district level coalition committee on Sunday decided to gather public feedback and recommendations as the civic poll scheduled for May 13 is fast approaching.

The meeting decided to collect municipal-level recommendations in all four municipalities and six rural municipalities, shared Nepali Congress(NC) Tanahun Secretary Laxmi Bhakta Khanal. 


"The meeting has come to a point to collect public feedback and develop strategic measures to strengthen the coalition's presence in the election," he said. 


Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party have agreed to go for election by forging electoral alliance.
