KATHMANDU, May 4: Domestic flights at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) were disrupted for an hour following the rumor of a suspicious object at the domestic terminal of the airport.
All the passengers of domestic flights were evacuated to the parking area of the airport after an unknown person called to say that there was a suspicious object.

Domestic flights were closed while international flights were operational following the rumor. A team comprising Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police launched a search operation.
The bomb disposal team did not find anything during the search operation, so the domestic flight services resumed, according to the airport.
