BHAKTAPUR, May 24 : Sajha Yatayat, a transport company run by a public cooperatives institution, is finally providing its service to and from Bhaktapur district from Wednesday.

The Department of Transport Management finally issued the permit to Sajha Yatayat, though only on the naya bato route. Accordingly, Sajha passenger bus will be available for travellers from Surya Binayak of Bhaktapur to Swayambhu of Kathmandu. Starting 6:30 am tomorrow, 20 buses would come into operation in the route, according to Sajha Yatayat Executive Director Mahendra Pandey. Starting from Swayambhu, the bus will pass through Kalanki, Rabi Bhawan, Soaltee Mode, Kalimati, Teku, Tripureswar, Ratnapark, Thapathali, Maitighar, Babarmahal, New Baneswar, Min Bhawan, Koteswar, Jadibuti, Lokanthali, Kaushaltar, Gatthaghar, Naya Thimi, Radhe Radhe, Srijananagar, Sallaghari and to Surya Binayak. The return route will have a little change to follow Singha Durbar from Maitighar, and to Putali Sadak, Kamaladi, Ghantaghar, Old Bus Park, Sahidgate, Tripureswar, Kalanki and Swayambhu.
The bus fare from Swayambhu to Bhaktapur has been fixed at Rs. 25. Sajha currently operates 46 large passenger buses in different routes of the valley including to two long-distance routes.
