Sajha expands service in Valley

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Sajha Yatayat has expanded its service in Kathmandu after settling a route permission row.



After a month-long wait, the Department of Transport Management last week finalized 30 new routes for Sajha buses operating in the Kahtmandu Valley.  



According to Mahendra Raj Panday, the manager of Sajha Yatayat, there are now 46 buses providing services to the commuters from within and outside the Valley on a daily basis.   

Talking about Sajha's future expansion projects, he further said that they are planning to get 10 more buses within six to eight months.

Sajha has also been providing late night bus service for city dwellers. The late night service operators till 10 pm.

 

As of now, there are 38 Sajha buses operating plying four routes within the Valley and eight buses operate outside the Valley.
