Samsung launches S8, S8+

KATHMANDU, April 19: Samsung Nepal launched two of its new smartphones -- Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Nepal amidst a function in Kathmandu on Wednesday.


According to Samsung, the smartphones redefine the future of style and consumer experience with a stunning bezel-less dual edge infinity display.

Issuing a statement, the company said that the Galaxy S8 will be offered to customers at a price of NRs 88,900 while Galaxy S8+ will be offered at NRs 98,900. "S8 has a display of 5.8 inches and S8+ has display of 6.2 inches," stated the press statement. S8 has a battery of 3000 mAh while S8+ has a battery of 3500 mAh. Both the smartphones have 4 GB RAM.


The Galaxy S8 will be offered in a rich color palette including Maple Gold and Midnight Black, while the Galaxy S8+ will also get the Coral Blue variant.


The company said that Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ consumers can also get 8 GB of Ncell data for 8 months. The smartphones will be available in select retail stores from May 5. The company also said that the consumers can pre-book the S8 and S8+ online on www.S8prebooking.com from April 20 to May 2.
