BHADRAPUR, Dec 7: The Sanghiya Limbuwan Party Nepal (SLPN) has agreed to a three-point pact of making its protest programs, including the general strike, peaceful. 


The SLPN has declared a protest movement expressing its serious reservations on the constitution amendment bill brought by the government on November 29.

The party agreed to make its protests peaceful in a discussion program with the civil society and human rights activists from Jhapa district at the Dialogue Group secretariat in Birtamod today. 


As per the agreement, the party has consented to make all its protest programs, including the general strike, scheduled for December 15 peaceful and to allow the operation of motorcycles, milk vans, mortuary vans, ambulances and vehicles used for transporting medicines, doctors, vegetables, tea, newspapers and wedding attendees without any hindrance. 


Likewise, the party has agreed to allow the schools and colleges to run classes and conduct examinations.


Party's central president Sanjuhang Palungwa and central committee member Tek Bahadur Khajum signed the agreement.
