SC orders govt to provide door to door COVID-19 vaccination services to elderly, differently-abled people

KATHMANDU, August 13: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order to the government to provide a door to door COVID-19 vaccination services to elderly and differently-abled people.

KATHMANDU, August 13: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order to the government to provide a door to door COVID-19 vaccination services to elderly and differently-abled people.


A single bench of Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana issued the order on Friday. Earlier, Pravesh KC had filed a writ petition at the apex court demanding relief for elderly people.

The apex court has ordered the government to provide door to door COVID-19 facilities to elderly, people who are unable to walk, those suffering from chronic disease, those who have lost their sight and other differently-abled persons.
