KATHMANDU, March 28: The students of All Nepal National Free Students Union (Revolutionary) – (ANNFSU-R) have hurled a petrol bomb during the Free Student Union (FSU) election at Ratna Rajya (RR) Campus on Tuesday.
The student wing of ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) clashed with the police at the polling station. DSP Santosh Lama has received injury in the petrol bomb attack.

According to the SSP of Kathmandu, Chabi Joshi, the police are on their duty though few of them are injured during the clash.
According to the latest update, around 700 votes have been cast and the voting is underway peacefully.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of ANNFSU-R, Surendra Basnet has denied of any bombing on Tuesday. He demanded the suspension of the election citing that the party was informed through the paper media. He urged the fellow parties to reschedule the election date.
However, the CPN-UML student wing ANNFSU leader Rajkumar Rai has criticized the ANNFSU-R for the interruption in the poll and accused the party having fear of losing the election. He informed that the election is underway in peaceful manner as per the order of the Supreme Court.
