Seat allocation Task Force meeting to be held today

KATHMANDU, August 26: The meeting of the seat allocation Task Force of the five-party alliance is scheduled to be held today. The meeting will be held today at 4 pm at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.

KATHMANDU, August 26: The meeting of the seat allocation Task Force of the five-party alliance is scheduled to be held today. The meeting will be held today at 4 pm at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.


After presenting their own claims in the meeting of the leaders of the top party along with the Task Force  on Thursday, the meeting is going to be held today to finalize the seat allocation. In the meeting, Nepali Congress submitted claims for 100 seats, Maoist Center for 60, United Socialists for 40, Janata Samajwadi for 32, and Rashtriya Janamorcha Party for 3 seats.

As the claim of the party reached 235 out of 165 seats, the seat allocation has not been concluded. The meeting of the Task Force has been sitting repeatedly almost for a month to finalize the seat distribution.
