KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The third rank leader of Chinese Communist Party (CPC) and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), Li Zhansu is arriving in Kathmandu on September 12 as part of a three-day visit to Nepal. Li is visiting Nepal at the invitation of Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota.

The visit of Li comes two months after the visit of Liu Jianchao, the head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party in July. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, preparations are being made for Li's visit to Nepal.
Li is scheduled to hold a meeting with the President, Prime Minister, Speaker and top leaders of major political parties. He is about to come to Nepal as part of his visit to Asian countries.
