KATHMANDU, Nov 17: With the death of four more Nepali nationals, the number of Nepali nationals who were killed after fire broke out at a Nepali restaurant in Hong Kong rose to 11 on Tuesday.
According to local media reports, seven victims have been identified as nine-year-old Riyan Nepal, 38-year-old Yubaraj Kadel, 13-year-old Kritika Kadel, 35-year-old Raj Babu Nepal, 39-year-old Sher Bahadur Gurung, 32-year-old Anita Niraula and 40-year-old Binita Tamang. All of them were from Baglung district of Nepal.
Four others who were also Nepali nationals died in the same tragic incident. However, their identities have yet to be established.

According to South China Morning Post, seven people who were injured in the same incident are currently undergoing treatment in a local hospital.
The incident took place after a fire engulfed a tenement building in Hong Kong on Sunday night, Chinese media reports said quoting the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government.
The fire, which occurred at around 8 p.m. local time at the Nepali restaurant in the building on the Canton Road, Jordan, was extinguished about two hours later, Xinhua News Agency reported. The deceased were mostly Nepalis and a child died in the blaze, the report said.
Issuing a statement, HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam said that she was saddened by the tragedy and demanded all-out efforts to treat the injured and investigate the accident.
